Organix South - Sadie's Review and a GIVEAWAY!

I am so glad I was contacted by Organix South! This company is amazing all the way around. I tried many of their products, but my favorites were the children's shampoo & body wash, and the facial cleansing bar. I have problems with constant break-outs on my face, due to stress, anxiety, and just overall "life" coming out in the form of trouble areas on my face. I have tried all of the facial creams, pads, bars, washes, cleansers, foams, etc. Some of them dry my face out and it seems to work. Others would make my skin oily. No matter what I tried, nothing would work for me.
Facial Complexion Cleansing Bar

When Organix South sent me this facial cleansing bar, honestly I just sighed. Another facial cleansing bar, yay... I tried it and I'm so glad I did!! This bar has cleared my face up about 80% and I have only been using it a week. It is nothing short of amazing! Now I don't personally care too much for the scent of the bar, but if you like all natural items, it won't bother you at all. Quite frankly, it could smell downright disgusting and I'd still use it. It's just that good! "Packed with antioxidants, Neem protects, nourishes and moisturizes even the most sensitive skin." -- That is what you will read on the package and THAT is what you will experience. This bar left my skin feeling so clean. That is not something that happens often!

Kids Therape Shampoo/Bodywash

My three daughters tried out the TheraNeem Shampoo & Body Wash. They loved how it smelled, and I loved how squeaky clean it got them! It does have a thinner consistency than other shampoos and body washes, but don't let that fool you into thinking it won't work as well. You don't use much of it at all - a little goes a long way. This product is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin. The price is $13.95, so it's a bit more than the average children's shampoo but it will most likely last you longer, it's better for the kiddos, and it's all natural. What more could you ask for??

I also tried the cinnamon toothpaste and mouthwash from their oral care section. While it gets your teeth clean, and leaves your mouth feeling fresh, it's not for everybody. It really just depends on how important it is for you to use all natural products. If you can adjust to a different tasting toothpaste easily, it's great. The mouthwash didn't have much of a taste at all, and didn't burn like you will find with the stuff you buy at Wal-Mart. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, but I liked it. :)

GOOD: Great products, awesome customer service, great page layout, amazing ingredients used in their products. Fast shipping, too!

BAD: The prices may initially make you flinch a bit, but these are all natural products and worth every penny. For being as good as they are, I'd actually expect their prices to be a little higher.

OVERALL: Five stars, definitely. :) I have become a loyal Organix South customer for life. As soon as we need more shampoo, I will be ordering from them.

Clark Color Labs

As some know I love to take pictures, and as with anyone who takes pictures especially of our kids we want to get some of the printed out. I came across this company pretty much by accident but have turned to them time and time again (over 500 prints printed thus far probably closer to 1000). Their prints are clear and vibrant! They come in pretty much any size you could imagine from wallets to 20x30. Their prints come in both matte and glossy.
They have not only prints but also photo books, opportunities to make collages with up to 30 different pictures! I have recently made one to a size of 20x30 and it came out beautifully! Even the smallest pictures are about twice the size of wallets if not more. You can make all sorts of gifts from mugs to t shirts to canvas bags. Speaking of canvas they do canvas prints from 5x7 to 20x24. I absolutely love their work.

Pro: Great prints, great prices, great sales! Right now $.04 prints!!! Quick shipping, great options for photo gifts

Cons: You can’t edit a print to adjust the way it will be cut off in the program.

Overall: Clark Color is definite A+ in my book. They offer a great prints from wallet to 20x30 for a very low price. Their books are well made and the book designer is easy to use. If you want a great looking print for a low price I would go with Clark..

Queen Helene - The Original Mint Julep Masque

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque 6 oz.+ 2 oz. FreeI have very sensitive oily skin. I do have a few dry spots that are prone to flaking in dry winter weather so I guess it could be considered combination. I decided to try the original mint julep masque by Queen Helene.  I was happy with the feel as it wasn’t too thick and chalky like many other masques I have used. I applied it very generously to my entire face and was at first happy with the minty scent. It took about 10-15 min to fully dry.
Once it is dry and you look like a million years old with dry cracked skin it’s time to wash it off. It does wash off easily however leaving a horrible sulfur smell. So I recommend washing really well with your everyday cleanser until the smell is gone.

The smell isn’t bad enough that I would never use the product again but it will defiantly be one of those things I do right before getting into the shower. As a Bath & body business owner I can tell you the ingredients are very beneficial for your skin even if you don’t have troubled oily skin. They do tighten and revitalize dull skin and it’s a nice treat. However there are unnecessary ingredients that I could have done without such as fragrance, dye, and yes the sulfur. The bentonite clay and kaolin clay are what make this product so worth it. I say overall it’s a good masque.
PRO: It’s a great value at $3.99 or less for 8oz bottle. It’s available at any drug store. And it leaves your skin feeling tight, refreshed and radiant.
CON: It leaves a stinky sulfur after smell, has extra ingredients that make it less natural.
OVERALL: A good masque, comparable to many higher end products for ½ the price. Great smooth consistency.
