Baby Boutique Hair Bows Review

This review has been a long time coming and I want to apologize to Baby Boutique Hair Bows for the delay. There was some confusion and the bows were not delivered to me, but to a neighbor (2 buildings down, no less), and it took this long to find them.

These bows are by far the best bows I've reviewed. I don't mean this as an insult to any past boutiques :) I just want to stress how amazed I am with them. They're sturdy (I tugged, pushed, pulled, and they didn't come apart), cute (see picture), and just overall great.

Even though they are great, at $17.50 for a set, the price is a bit steep. They're worth every penny, and are super durable so you'll get lots of use out of them, but we all know what prices are like on bows nowadays so the $17.50 just kind of stings. Especially if you have more than one pretty little girl to buy for!

**EDIT** After writing this review, I was contacted by Baby Boutique and they let me know they changed their prices. They are now $14.00 for a set of bows. That's only $7 a piece, so not bad at all. Funny how just a few dollars can change my perception of things. :)

Overall, 3 stars. If they were more in my price range, they'd have a definite 5 star rating. Please check Baby Boutique Hair Bows on Facebook. Watch their page for sales! Bows like this are hard to come by.

Bella Fleur Review & GIVEAWAY!!

Being a boutique owner myself, I'm always extremely critical when I receive boutique items to review. I know how things are made, I know how much they cost to make, and I always cringe when I see how over-priced things are.

With that being said, please direct your attention to Bella Fleur. These items are not easy to make! They materials are expensive, they take time and patience and lots of practice, but somehow Bella Fleur still manages to sell them for under $15! These are not your typical flower clips, tutus, hair bows, etc. These are genuinely unique and so chic that you could even use them for wedding parties.

Check out these amazing hair accessories!

Hot Pink Satin Flower (Only $13.95)
Hot Pink Satin Flower with Lace Bow and Pearl Center on White Elastic Headband Many Colors

Teal Satin Flower with Swarovski Center and Peacock Feather Accent on White Crochet Headband

Now I'm the first to admit I'm a total cheap skate. I don't like to pay even $10 for hair accessories, but these are items I would splurge on! I absolutely adore peacock feathers, but they are a pain to work with. I would much rather buy one from Bella Fleur for $10.95 and be done with it. :)

As if I didn't sound like an infomercial enough already, I have to show you the darling pictures I took of Jenelle in one of Bella Fleur's accessories. Hands down, this is the best hair accessory I have reviewed. Ever.

If you are a photographer, you need to buy from Bella Fleur. I'm not exaggerating! :) They were so fun to take pictures of, I didn't want to stop! Jenelle was on her way to a dance, though, and wasn't having any more of it (notice the fake smile and slight eye roll lol). Take my word for it, they are worth the investment and you'll love taking pictures of them. They'd also be REALLY cute on little babies!! Ahh! The possibilities are endless!

**Shipping is also very reasonable!!**

GIVEAWAY!! Abigail's Boutique Designs: Sadie's Review

My youngest daughter Sapphire fell in love with the skirt we got from Abigail's Boutique Designs. It's crazy, loud, and fits Miss Sapphire to a T! These are priced around $20, which is great for a unique, durable, hand made skirt. Sapphire has been wearing this skirt for a few weeks now and it's still holding up, which means it is definitely durable. She is my rough n tough one!

The beauty bomb we tested was HUGE. It has lasted through about 5 baths for each of my 3 girls. They just took a small chunk of it each time and used it. It smells great, and it came in a neat little bag to keep it contained. I just looked at her Etsy shop and found some regular beauty bombs - the large ones are special for the holidays. :)

I was also able to try a sample of her highly scented soy melts. One cube made my entire kitchen and living room smell amazing. :) The shop owner, Robyn, is offering a random pack of tarts to one lucky winner that responds to this blog post!!

I have LOTS of things that are on my wish list from Abigail's Boutique Designs! The soy candles that last a year are a must have. 4 promo soaps for $3 can't be beat! And last but not least, the shea butter lotion! YUM!

GOOD: High quality, and unique. Outstanding customer service and a very organized shop. :)

BAD: Normally the $20 price for a skirt would scare me away, but if I needed a customized one for matching (unique!) pictures, I'd definitely splurge.

OVERALL: 5 out of 5 stars!

Visit her on FACEBOOK and let her know 3 Girls sent ya! :) Or stop by and heart her Etsy shop!

Giveaway ends 12/17/2010!

Abigail's Boutique Designs: Jenelle's Review

I received a Nightmare Before Christmas bottle cap necklace from one of my favorite boutiques: Abigail's Boutique Designs. Here are some of the designs she has that I like.

I think she should make more 'best friends' sets because I'd like them but these are not really my style.

Good: The necklace was only $5 so even a kid like me can afford it. I really like that because I don't have to ask my mom for money then. The designs are different, and they fit my personality. I don't like wearing things that everyone else will be wearing.

Bad: Nothing!

Next, I'm going to try her simple silk bubble powder. It only takes 2 spoonfuls of this powder to make your bubble bath great, and she has over 100 scents. That is what I call variety! My moms like the Love Spell but I like the Pink Sugar, and my sisters like jusssssst about anything. No need for us to fight over one scent though because they're only $5.25 so we can get one of each.

Find Abigail's Boutique Designs on Facebook and Etsy.

GIVEAWAY!! Bela's Tutus: Jenelle's Review

Bela's Tutus & More makes really cute bows! She sent me a "Team Edward" bow.

Even though I'm "Team Jacob", I wore the bow to school as soon as I got it and all of my friends loved it!

She also does embroidery like this onesie like this one for my new baby cousin that will be here in January!

Bela's Tutus even has boy stuff!

Good: Her prices are pretty good and she is really nice. She works hard on her bows and they are all very unique. They are not HUGE like some of the bows (I don't like those). They are the perfect size.

Cons: None that I noticed.

You can visit her website here, or her Facebook page here and tell her that Jenelle from 3 Girls sent you!

Bela's Tutus is offering a giveaway!! YAY! I wish I could enter. :) She will take this bow, and the graphic that you choose, and create an item just for you.
