GIVEAWAY!!! Black Rose Bath

When I came home from the park, our entire hallway/stair area smelled of pure greatness! I saw a package sitting at my door step and of course was excited to open it. Black Rose Bath sent me a sampler pack of lots of their items!

I fell in love with the organic sugar scrub, pink grapefruit and mango body scrub, and the lemon verbena soy candle. The shea butter soap is my 6 year old daughter's favorite. She said it is soft on her skin. She has some sensory issues, so when she loves something there is no talking her out of it. :)

And while I didn't love the scent, the aromatherapy relaxation bar has a very unique look to it. It is all personal preference. The product itself is great. I prefer fruity scents (like the lemon verbena, yum!), not perfumed scents. If you like stronger scents, I'd try the aromatherapy relaxation bar (pictured below). If you like more natural scents, the plumeria glycerin soap is perfect.

Aromatherapy Relaxation Glycerin Exfoliating Soap- 4oz Bars-Cruelty Free and Eco Friendly

If you are looking for a great soy candle, I definitely recommend this shop. I have my eye on the dark chocolate one. If you are looking for a pretty soap for the guest bathroom, try the aromatherapy and relaxation soap, or the lavender aloe vera bar. If you are addicted to soy melts like I am, try the aromatherapy soy melts.

Aromatherapy Relaxation Soy Melts

Good: The prices are very fair, as is shipping. They even have a $1 soap section!

Bad: Some of the scents are very strong, so you might want to ask her before ordering if you are sensitive to certain ones.

BUY IT: Black Rose Bath

Devany's Designs Review & Giveaway

How many ways can you say "Happy Birthday"? Well, let's see... you could say it with zebra stripes and polka dots...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Banner - ZEBRA and MINNIE MOUSE style print in black white and hot pink

Or you could say it with leopard print!
HaPPY BiRTHDAY Banner - Golden Yellow LEoPARD and Red MiNNIE Polka Dots

Hey, what about a cow print?
HaPPY BiRTHDAY Banner - Chocolate Brown CoW PRiNT on Baby PiNK

All of these are FUN ways to say Happy Birthday!! Visit Devany's Designs on Etsy to see more.

As always, I'm going to be 100% honest when writing this review. When I saw these banners, I wasn't completely sold on them. The pictures are okay, but not great (though I admit when I tried to get my own "great" pictures of the one I received, I failed miserably), and they're cute but they didn't make me squeal with delight when seeing them online. However, when I got my Happy Birthday banner in the mail, I was pleasantly surprised!! These are not letters on printed paper, they are solid colored letters with hand made stripes, polka dots, etc. They are sealed (think laminated), and strung together with a satin ribbon. I only wish my little girl's birthday was coming sooner than August! She loves Minnie Mouse and these zebra stripes and polka dots (see first picture) would look GREAT with a Minnie theme!

Shipping is only $1.60, or $.40 if shipped with another item. You truly can't beat that, especially with the price of mailing supplies these days. Ugh, don't get me started!

I was browsing Devany's shop and found the CUTEST baby shower designs. Look!

Giant iTS A GiRL Banner - Hot Pink Cheetah or Leopard Print

And she didn't leave the boys out!
ITS A BOY banner - blue/brown polka dots

Ya know what would be super fun? A camouflage "Happy Birthday" sign for the little hunter in your life, or maybe a silver and black for your mom's 50th birthday party! The possibilities are endless here, and at these prices you really can't resist! I know some of you are thinking "I could make those myself". Why yes, yes you could.. but they're only $15 and I promise it would take you more time than it's worth! So if you are planning a party soon, be sure to stop by Devany's Designs and let her know you want her to make you a special sign!

Orrrrrrrr better yet, ENTER OUR GIVEAWAY!! :) One custom birthday sign made by Devany's is up for grabs!! You know the drill. :) Don't forget to leave your email! Giveaway ends 3/27 and winner will be announced on that day.

Organix South - Sadie's Review and a GIVEAWAY!

I am so glad I was contacted by Organix South! This company is amazing all the way around. I tried many of their products, but my favorites were the children's shampoo & body wash, and the facial cleansing bar. I have problems with constant break-outs on my face, due to stress, anxiety, and just overall "life" coming out in the form of trouble areas on my face. I have tried all of the facial creams, pads, bars, washes, cleansers, foams, etc. Some of them dry my face out and it seems to work. Others would make my skin oily. No matter what I tried, nothing would work for me.
Facial Complexion Cleansing Bar

When Organix South sent me this facial cleansing bar, honestly I just sighed. Another facial cleansing bar, yay... I tried it and I'm so glad I did!! This bar has cleared my face up about 80% and I have only been using it a week. It is nothing short of amazing! Now I don't personally care too much for the scent of the bar, but if you like all natural items, it won't bother you at all. Quite frankly, it could smell downright disgusting and I'd still use it. It's just that good! "Packed with antioxidants, Neem protects, nourishes and moisturizes even the most sensitive skin." -- That is what you will read on the package and THAT is what you will experience. This bar left my skin feeling so clean. That is not something that happens often!

Kids Therape Shampoo/Bodywash

My three daughters tried out the TheraNeem Shampoo & Body Wash. They loved how it smelled, and I loved how squeaky clean it got them! It does have a thinner consistency than other shampoos and body washes, but don't let that fool you into thinking it won't work as well. You don't use much of it at all - a little goes a long way. This product is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin. The price is $13.95, so it's a bit more than the average children's shampoo but it will most likely last you longer, it's better for the kiddos, and it's all natural. What more could you ask for??

I also tried the cinnamon toothpaste and mouthwash from their oral care section. While it gets your teeth clean, and leaves your mouth feeling fresh, it's not for everybody. It really just depends on how important it is for you to use all natural products. If you can adjust to a different tasting toothpaste easily, it's great. The mouthwash didn't have much of a taste at all, and didn't burn like you will find with the stuff you buy at Wal-Mart. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, but I liked it. :)

GOOD: Great products, awesome customer service, great page layout, amazing ingredients used in their products. Fast shipping, too!

BAD: The prices may initially make you flinch a bit, but these are all natural products and worth every penny. For being as good as they are, I'd actually expect their prices to be a little higher.

OVERALL: Five stars, definitely. :) I have become a loyal Organix South customer for life. As soon as we need more shampoo, I will be ordering from them.

Organix South has been generous enough to offer an amazing all natural spa package for one lucky reader!!

This package includes is a $59 value and includes:

EdibleGiftBasketsOnline GIVEAWAY!!

We received this lovely gift basket from EdibleGiftBasketsOnline.com in the mail just in time for Christmas. My favorite part was the Ghirardelli chocolates with caramel in the center.

From their website:

My name is Michelle Matthews. I am an independent gift basket consultant for LaBella Baskets. We are an online store only.

We have a membership program for business owners helping them to save 30% off gift baskets & flowers everyday for their business or personal gifting needs. This program is also a great fund raiser!

We believe in the power of giving. Every time someone buys a LaBella Basket they are directly contributing to the company's 'Basket of Hope' program. A program designed to help single moms who are experiencing hardships.

LaBella Baskets is also a great opportunity for anyone looking for a legitimate work at home career.

Everything in this gift basket was wrapped very nicely. Instead of giving the entire basket to one person, I divided it up and it made 5 gifts. Chocolates I gave to myself. :) The meat and cheese I gave to my grandma, and then I divided the candy, popcorn, and coffee and tea mixes between my other grandma and my moms.

You can shop for gift baskets here. For $44, you can get a Breast Cancer Awareness gardening basket. $5 is donated from each purchase.

                      Blooming for Breast Cancer

I really want a basket like this for when we do movie night at my house.

                                Movie Night

Good: These baskets are very professional looking, they'd be good to send to your boss.

Bad: The basket I reviewed would normally cost almost $60.

Overall: I think these baskets are great for the perfect occasion. I like that they donate to moms that are having a hard time.

Michelle is generous enough to be giving a gift basket away to one lucky 3G reader, and since January is National Stay Healthy Month, she chose this healthy basket! Just leave a comment and you are automatically entered to win!

White Gloss gift box (measures 6x6x6)
Baked Lays chips
Rold Gold Pretzels
Sun Chips
100 Calorie Toasted Wheat Thins
2- 40 calorie Gold Fish packs

This beautiful rag quilt from 3 Gals Quilts arrived in the mail earlier this week, just in time for the super cold weather we got! It almost feels like jean material, it's just the right thickness, and obviously a lot of time went into making this quilt.

GIVEAWAY!! Abigail's Boutique Designs: Sadie's Review

My youngest daughter Sapphire fell in love with the skirt we got from Abigail's Boutique Designs. It's crazy, loud, and fits Miss Sapphire to a T! These are priced around $20, which is great for a unique, durable, hand made skirt. Sapphire has been wearing this skirt for a few weeks now and it's still holding up, which means it is definitely durable. She is my rough n tough one!

The beauty bomb we tested was HUGE. It has lasted through about 5 baths for each of my 3 girls. They just took a small chunk of it each time and used it. It smells great, and it came in a neat little bag to keep it contained. I just looked at her Etsy shop and found some regular beauty bombs - the large ones are special for the holidays. :)

I was also able to try a sample of her highly scented soy melts. One cube made my entire kitchen and living room smell amazing. :) The shop owner, Robyn, is offering a random pack of tarts to one lucky winner that responds to this blog post!!

I have LOTS of things that are on my wish list from Abigail's Boutique Designs! The soy candles that last a year are a must have. 4 promo soaps for $3 can't be beat! And last but not least, the shea butter lotion! YUM!

GOOD: High quality, and unique. Outstanding customer service and a very organized shop. :)

BAD: Normally the $20 price for a skirt would scare me away, but if I needed a customized one for matching (unique!) pictures, I'd definitely splurge.

OVERALL: 5 out of 5 stars!

Visit her on FACEBOOK and let her know 3 Girls sent ya! :) Or stop by and heart her Etsy shop

Giveaway ends 12/17/2010!

1st entry for giveaway - follow our blog and leave a comment.

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS OR YOU FORFEIT YOUR PRIZE.
